This ride offers a good tour of an area with a good handful of side loops and connectors that can provide a fair amount of riding. After paying the entrance fee at Echo Lake State Park you start a root-covered loop around the lake but break away on a trail that dumps you on asphalt by the entrance of a resort. You dive back into the woods and shortly are spit out on the Cathedral Ledge Access Road for a steep climb that takes you to Red’s Trail that can be looped back into the road.
